Karen Doss is the Owner of Fox + Hound and the Founder of the Fox + Hound K9 Foundation.
She is not in Law Enforcement, not even in the K9 world, but the first time she heard the words “Good Boy”, she knew she would be linked to this world forever. She was amazed by the incredible bonds made between the K9 and their Handler, and had the desire to know more.
It did not take her long to realize there were needs that sometimes the Departments could not meet financially, or that sometimes a handler and their family might have a personal struggle they were dealing with. We have found that if you watch someone and keep your eyes, ears, and heart open, you will see their need. She couldn’t walk away from that. Her heart wouldn’t let her, and it was always on her mind.
That is how the Give Back Mission started with Fox + Hound.
It was more than just purchasing K9 Vests and Crates. It was about Giving Back to Heroes, finding the need, then taking care of that need so they could continue to serve their community and return safely home to their families.
With the help of all of Fox + Hound’s Customers, we were able to give back over $26,000 in our first year. We saw more needs and developed an even larger passion. Fox + Hound K9 Foundation was created to give back to the K9 Teams Coast to Coast.
Fox + Hound K9 Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Our tax identification number is
It is with a lot of dedicated work and your generous donations that we are able to continue this Mission. Please join us in this effort by supporting this noble cause.
